Skipper is a serious penguin, there's no room for fun in his schedule. He manages all of the kingdom's affairs and fixes them. You can say he's a 'backstage king', doing all the dirty work. Despite having an immature king, he likes his job. Skipper thinks Grisson is refreshing to be around, also gets to fulfill his urge to be bossy.
